Sonora is located just 2-1/2 hours from San Jose on Highway 108 in the foothills of the gold country.  Nestled in the easy living quiet area of Tuolumne County, Sonora is just 45 miles away from Yosemite Park.

The climate in Sonora is moderate in all seasons, with snow sports just 30 minutes away.  Fishing is abundant in the many lakes and streams.  You may want to visit the gold rush towns of Jamestown and Columbia and experience a trip to the past.  Downtown Sonora has many small specialty shops and so many good restaurants.  In addition, there are three live theatres and excellent shopping.
